Our Wedding

We met in high school and became fast friends — the kind of friends who just understood each other. Over time, that friendship grew into something deeper, built on laughter, trust, and a shared sense of home.Since then, we’ve grown up together, navigating milestones side by side and building a relationship that has always felt steady, easy, and true. What started as late-night conversations and inside jokes has turned into a lifelong partnership grounded in the same friendship that began it all.

We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with our favorite people in the very place that first felt like a dream come true.

Our wedding will take place at the beautiful Sandals Ochi Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. This adults-only, all-inclusive property offers white-sand beaches, lush gardens, and endless opportunities to relax and celebrate together.

Getting Around the Resort

Sandals Ochi is a spacious resort with both a hillside and a beachfront section. Depending on your room location, you may enjoy a short stroll to reach dining, pools, or the beach. For those located farther away from the action, the resort provides a complimentary “Hop” shuttle that runs continuously throughout the day.Shuttles operate frequently (every 5–10 minutes) between the main resort areas, so you’ll never wait long.Stops are conveniently located on both the hillside and beachside, making it simple to move between pools, restaurants, and activities.Guests in butler-level rooms may also have access to golf cart transfers arranged directly by their butler for added convenience.Shuttles typically run all day and evening, though we recommend checking the daily schedule once you arrive for the most accurate times.Insider Tip: Many guests say they “never had to wait more than five minutes” for a shuttle. Still, if you’re heading to dinner or an activity at a specific time, plan a few extra minutes in case the shuttle makes a stop along the way.

Resort Dress Code

Sandals has two simple dress codes to keep in mind:Resort Casual: Shorts, polos, tees, sundresses, and sandals are welcome. No swimsuits in restaurants.Resort Evening: Dress pants or jeans for men, dresses or blouses for women. Dress shoes or elegant sandals are recommended.

Gratuity 

At Sandals Ochi, gratuities are already included in your stay as part of the all-inclusive experience. Guests don’t need to provide additional tips during their visit, as staff members are already compensated through Sandals’ service program.Please note that most resort employees are not permitted to accept cash tips — the only exceptions are Butlers and spa staff, who may accept gratuities at your discretion for their personalized services.

If you’re interested in exploring beyond the resort, Megan Potter, our Certified Sandals Specialist, can assist with learning about the different excursion options offered through Island Routes, Sandals’ official tour partner.Megan has a personal connection with Island Routes and can help get questions answered quickly or assist you in choosing the best experiences for your stay. She’ll also ensure excursions are planned at times that don’t interfere with our wedding events, so you can fully relax and enjoy your time in Jamaica. Local Favorites:Dunn’s River Falls — one of Jamaica’s most famous attractions, just minutes from the resort.
